Who is Rachel, Brisbane Child Speech Pathologist?

​Rachel is a certified Speech Pathologist passionate about providing fun, family-centred, evidence-based intervention. Having wanted to practice as a Speech Pathologist from a young age, Rachel is committed to working with children and their families to enrich their lives in the areas of feeding, communication, learning and overall wellbeing.

Rachel's Qualifications, Experience and Interests


Qualifications & Areas of Further Skill Development:

Graduating from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology, Rachel is committed to providing a high quality, holistic and compassionate service. Rachel is also a certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). SPA is the professional association tasked with ensuring that Speech Pathologists have the qualifications necessary to practice. The fact that Rachel is a certified Speech Pathologist demonstrates her drive to continually improve upon her knowledge and practice and thus her commitment to be a well-informed Speech Pathologist.

Experience and Interest Areas:

Rachel loves having the opportunity to work for SpeechNet as she is able to provide a diverse array of high quality services across a variety practice areas. In particular, Rachel has a fond interest in the areas of paediatric feeding, language disorders, late talkers, speech sound disorders and assisting children to better access the curriculum.

Rachel has special interests in the areas of speech pathology including:

• Early intervention – Late talking

• Paediatric Feeding

• Speech sound disorders

In addition to her Speech Pathology work, Rachel is an avid bookworm and also readily participates in a wide variety of community-based sporting teams.
